Nature
Natural beauty is all around us. You see it every day whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. It is impossible to avoid and yet so easy to ignore.
The beauty of Nature is what inspires architecture, urban planning, art, design, and so much more. Our interpretation of this natural beauty is the foundation of culture. And while we don't all interpret and appreciate beauty in the same way, none of us can deny its existence in the natural world.
Having grown up on a small farm in Southeastern Minnesota, Nature and all of its beautiful manifestations are something I hold close to my heart. The ever present changes that take place in Nature only reinforce the importance of a moment of observation.
These important moments of beauty are what I strive to capture in my photographs and it is my hope that others will appreciate these moments as I did.
